Dr. Benjamin Jump:  is the owner and President of Moundbuilders General Dentistry. Dr. Jump grew up in Granville and graduated from Granville High School.  He then attended Kenyon College in Knox County and received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)  in Psychology with a Pre-Med/Dent Minor.  After his time at Kenyon, he enrolled in The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).  Since that time he has been in practice with Dr. Main in Newark.  Recently Dr. Jump completed advanced training in the placement of dental implants.  Currently, Dr. Jump lives in Newark with his wife, Brett, their son, Davidson, and their daughter, Isabella.  His hobbies include golfing, fishing, running, photography, and spending time with his family.  He also enjoys giving school presentations to area students on dental health.  Dr. Jump is a member of the American Academy of Sports Dentistry, American Dental Association (ADA), Ohio Dental Association (ODA), Chicago Dental Society, and the W.D. Miller Dental Society for Licking and Knox counties.  Dr. Jump also serves as the Team Dentist for Denison University.

Dr. Richard Main:  Originally from Upper Arlington, OH, Dr. Main attended Bowling Green and The Ohio State University for his undergraduate work.  After receiving a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Anatomy, he then enrolled in The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).  After his time at Ohio State, he spent 2 years in the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.  Since that time he has been practicing dentistry in Newark for more than 30 years.  He currently lives in Newark with his wife, Laura. His son, Matthew, is a history teacher and football coach in Naperville, IL.  In his spare time, Dr. Main enjoys fishing, golfing, politics, and country music.  He is a Member of Rotary, on the Board of Trustees of Med-Ben, the Granville Foundation, and the Union Cemetary Board.  Dr. Main is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Ohio Dental Association (ODA), Chicago Dental Society, and the W.D. Miller Dental Society for Licking and Knox counties.  In October 2001, Dr. Main became a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.

Annie, Front Office Coordinator: Annie grew up and currently lives in Granville with her husband and daughter.  After graduating from Granville High School, Annie earned her Associate Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.  In her spare time she enjoys gardening and baking. Annie joined the practice in May 2007.

Emily, Office Scheduling Coordinator: Emily joined the practice in July of 2009 as the Scheduling Coordinator. Emily grew up in Cambridge and has lived in Newark for the past nine years. Emily is married to her husband, Buddy, where they live with their dog, Roxy. Emily is also the proud step-mother of two beautiful girls, Cloey and Laney. Her hobbies include shopping and decorating their home, working in the yard, and spending time with her family.

Kim, Dental Hygienist: Kim grew up in Anna, OH and graduated from Anna High School. Since then she attended and graduated from Shawnee State University receiving a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Dental Hygiene. She has two sons. Her hobbies include riding horses, raising calves, and gardening. Kim joined the practice in January 1995.

Becky, Dental Hygienist: Becky grew up in Newark and graduated from Newark Catholic High School. She then attended the University of Kentucky where she received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She is married and has a son and two daughters. Becky joined our practice in 1997.

Katie, Dental Hygienist: Katie is from Coshocton, Ohio and joined the practice in December 2005. She holds degrees in both Elementary Education and Dental Hygiene. She has extensive experience in all aspects of dental hygiene, including over 12 years of experience working exclusively with children. Katie is married and has a son and a daughter. She enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

Tara, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant:  Tara graduated from West Lafayette High School. She completed Dental Assisting training at the Buckeye Career Center in New Philadelphia, OH. She received both her Ohio Dental Assistant Certification and Dental Assisting National Board Certification. In addition, she sucessfully completed the Coronal Polishing Course at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. In 2006 she completed her Expanded Functions training at Ohio State which will allow her to place fillings. She is married and has a son. She enjoys spending time with her family and attending NASCAR races. Tara joined the practice in October 2004.

Mindy, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant: Mindy grew up in Newark and completed the Dental Assisting Program at C-TEC. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, shopping, swimming, bowling, and playing miniature golf. Mindy joined the practice in April 2007.

Stephanie, Dental Assistant: Stephanie is from Baltimore, Ohio and graduated from Liberty Union High School. She completed her dental assisting training at the Ohio Institute of Health Careers. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors especially camping, riding dirtbikes or just taking a relaxing walk. Stephanie joined the practice in January 2009.
